I Need Help With My Pet

Pet Food & Supplies

No pet should have to go hungry, and no pet parent should have to give up their own meals to feed them. If you can’t afford your pet’s food, we’re here to help.

MAS’s Pet Food Pantry offers dog, cat, puppy, and kitten food, as varieties and brands are available, to Shelby County residents in need. You can request pet food assistance by clicking the button below. Our Pet Resource team will schedule a day for you to pick your food up from our location at 2350 Appling City Cove.

We can also help with other supplies, like collars, leashes, toys, beds, crates, litter boxes and scoops, food and water bowls—if there’s anything you need in order to keep your pet happy and healthy, and you can’t afford it, please reach out.

Want to help feed pets in need?

There are two ways you can help!

Donate food
The food provided by our Pet Food Pantry comes almost entirely from donations. We accept any brand or variety of wet or dry, unopened, in-date dog, cat, puppy, or kitten food.

  • Order food to be delivered to us
  • Shop locally at Superlo or any grocery/pet food store and drop the food off to us at 2350 Appling City Cove

Deliver food to homebound or disabled pet parents
While we ask our Pet Food Pantry recipients to pick up their food from MAS, we do assist some pet parents who are elderly, disabled, or otherwise homebound and are not physically able to get to our location to pick up their food. For those few recipients, we have volunteers who deliver their pet food. If you’d like to sign up to deliver pet food, email [email protected].
