I Want to Volunteer
How Volunteers Save Lives at MAS
There are four key ways you’ll save lives while volunteering with Memphis Animal Services. Choose one area you’re most passionate about, or volunteer in some or all these areas:
Keeping Families & Pets Together
- Volunteer in our Pet Resource Center, which assists pet parents with supplies and services they need to keep their pets instead of surrendering them to the shelter
- Deliver pet food and supplies to homebound pet parents in need
- Deliver medications to vet clinics so that our adopters have what their new pets need
- Volunteer remotely posting lost/found pets to various social media networks
- Volunteer remotely as a Lost/Found Detective comparing lost/found posts to shelter pets
- Attend events as part of the Tag Team, engraving free pet ID tags and giving away free collars to pet parents
