Group Volunteering at MAS 

We love welcoming corporate, school, and community groups to join our life-saving mission! Group volunteer activities are available Tuesdays through Fridays, and we ask for at least 2–3 weeks’ notice to schedule.

Ways groups Can Get Involved

Dog Field Trips

Our favorite group activity! Dog Field Trips give shelter dogs a much-needed break from the kennel. Groups take dogs out for a few hours of fun, fresh air, and socialization—plus new photos and bios to help them get adopted. 

  • Up to 25 people 
  • Volunteers must be 18+ 

Enrichment Food/Toy Prep

Help keep our pets happy and engaged by preparing enrichment activities. Groups set up in our conference room to stuff Kongs, prep toys, or organize treats for both dogs and cats. 

  • Up to 15 people 
  • Open to all ages 

Host a Donation Drive 

One of the most impactful ways groups can support MAS is by collecting much-needed supplies. 

  • Collect food, treats, toys, towels, blankets, or cleaning items 
  • Host drives at your school, workplace, or organization 

Custom Service Projects 

Have special skills or an idea for a project? We’d love to hear it! From facility improvements to creative outreach, we’re open to exploring how your group can help. 

Whether you’re a team of coworkers, classmates, or friends, volunteering together is a rewarding way to bond while making a direct impact on Memphis pets.
