This holiday season, YOU’RE the gift for a shelter pet hoping to find a family. And this Saturday, it costs nothing to give a dog or cat the gift of a family! Memphis Animal Services is staying open for 12 straight hours on Saturday, December 16, from 9am-9pm, so we can get as many dogs and cats as possible into happy homes! Last year, we sent over 150 pets home at this event!
Santa has a few gifts of his own for pets that are adopted at this event: a $50 pet supply gift card* to get a head start on what they need, and pets can pick a present from under the Christmas tree! Each pet will get a goodie bag with freebies like pet food, food scoops, and more. The first 60 pets adopted will get a certificate for a free vet exam at participating local veterinarians, and all pets will get a certificate for a discounted vet exam at participating local veterinarians. (*While supplies last)
Adopted pets will have the opportunity to take a holiday family photo on their way out to their new life! Hot chocolate will be available for human guests, and we’ll have holiday coloring pages for the kiddos while they’re waiting.
All adoptions at MAS, regardless of adoption fees include: spay/neuter, microchip, vaccines, collar, leash, customized ID tag, heartworm testing and treatment medications if needed (dogs).

Bissell Pet Foundation will donate $20 per cat adoption and $50 per dog adoption to Memphis Animal Services thanks to the 12 Hours of Christmas taking place during BPF’s national Empty the Shelters adoption event.
